As of December 1^st, 2008, Flowered Rock Farm will be converted into a private riding club for a limited amount of members.  Between now and then, some changes will be happening at our riding facility. We are building a 1/4 mile ‘cantering’ track around the barn, creating a controlled ‘trotting’ track in the arena, and a covered ‘walking’ track in the barn. These tracks will be used exclusively by our members and lit up so that ‘track practice’ can be held during the day or night! In addition to many club benefits, members will receive a 1 hour weekly, group lesson, and two, 30 minute rides on the track of their the level. The riders can apply what they learned at the lesson during their two track time rides each week. During the riding lessons, members will work toward earning achievement patches. All riders will set riding goals, as well as horsemanship skills to master. If the weather is not suitable for riding during a lesson, this time will be used for the members to work on obtaining non-riding patches and practicing bareback riding on the covered ‘walkers’ track in the barn.
